The recognition from Scotland Prestige Awards 2026/27 celebrates Sanity Daily’s contribution to mental health awareness and wellbeing through accessible writing, personal storytelling, conversations and resources that encourage people to engage with their mental health without judgement or unnecessary jargon.
For a platform that started because I simply needed somewhere to put my thoughts into words, this feels pretty special. Sanity Daily began in 2019, but the writing started before that. It began with journalling, reflection and trying to make sense of life and the complicated bits, and the things we don’t always know how to say out loud. Over the years, Sanity Daily has grown far beyond what I imagined when I started it. It has become a place for conversations about mental health, resilience, single motherhood, loneliness, identity, relationships, self-worth and all the wonderfully messy bits of being human. I have also had the privilege of taking those conversations into podcasting, student support, community work and now into my PhD research.
But the heart of Sanity Daily is you, my readers and my supporters. Every time you read something I have written, shared a post, listened to an episode, recommended Sanity Daily to someone, replied to a story or sent me a message saying “I needed this today“ you gave this platform another reason to keep going.
About the Scotland Prestige Awards 2026/27
The Scotland Prestige Awards recognise businesses and individuals across Scotland for their work, achievements and contribution within their respective sectors. The programme celebrates organisations across a wide range of industries and categories, highlighting those that stand out within their local communities and fields of work. The award ceremony will be held on 11th October at Edinburgh, Scotland.
For Sanity Daily, being recognised in the Mental Health Blog of the Year – Lanarkshire category is particularly meaningful because mental health and wellbeing have been at the heart of the platform since its beginnings in 2019. Some of you have been here for years and have watched Sanity Daily change. Some of you have become beyond readers and have watched me change. You have seen me evolve and grow and you have grown alongside it, and I genuinely take none of that for granted.
So, I want to say thank you.
Thank you for reading the words I put out into the world thank you for trusting this space, and thank you for helping turn something that started as a personal writing practice into a platform that reaches people far beyond my own little corner from India to Scotland. Here’s to more honest conversations, more uncomfortable questions, more stories, more listening and hopefully a little more sanity along the way.
love and light
Priyanka
