The difference between your desire to reach a destination and your destination has a gap of your struggle and testing time, and that is the only time wherein either many of us give up or come out brilliantly flaunting all our failures, struggles, and pain in order to gain the strength to conquer all our dreams and reach to our desired destination gracefully. You are the only person who intimately knows what you want to accomplish in life and what kind of achievement will have the greatest meaning, fulfillment, and impact in your life. You are the only one who has the power to make a difference in your life by making certain alterations in your thought process and your belief system. Have a complete check on goals before putting it into action, if it is achievable, measurable, quantifiable, and realistic or not, if you have the slightest of doubt then re-work on your goals, it will help you. 16.) Get rid of self-limiting beliefs “Examine your beliefs and break free.”― The only distance you need to travel between you and success is the milestones of your limiting beliefs you have been carrying with you. These limiting beliefs are nothing but a hindrance in your way that makes you doubt yourself and take you away from your goals. Get rid of any belief that holds you back, only you can do that. 17.) Avoid content overload “Never let anyone or anything distract you from noticing how amazing you are.” —Edmond Mbiaka With the advent of social media and that infinite scrolling, we have very easy access to other’s life, and we are exposed to a lot of content, we somehow tend to compare ourselves with them and what we see are their success story and our struggle. It only makes us anxious, has a time-out, filters out the content, and stick to things which makes you even more passionate about your work. 18.) Practice gratitude “Gratitude is a powerful catalyst for happiness. It’s the spark that lights a fire of joy in your soul.” – Amy Collette How to be successful in life? By practicing gratitude, gratitude changes everything. It helps you to count your blessing and look at the brighter side. You may not experience the magic of being grateful eventually but gradually once you make it a habit you will never stop being grateful for even the biggest setback you face in your life. It has immense power. 19.) Be original “Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.”― The sweetest explanation one can ever get. Yes, be you, be original and be authentic, everyone else is taken. There is none like you because your thoughts, your ideas, and your mind is your copyright. Preserve it and use it for your own good, success will be yours. 20.) Don’t follow the rat-race “The trouble with being in the rat race is that even if you win, you’re still a rat.” ― And who wants to be a rat? In a world full of plagiarism, copycats, and idea-thieves, be your own version. Be invincible and unstoppable by creating a unique identity, by following your own convictions, and being firm on your life rules. You should be capable enough to measure your success, to work hard and if required re-work on your goals, but never ever follow the rat-race, avoid all the noise surrounding you.
